As a distressed real estate specialist for 17 years, Jorge Newbery has been involved in the disposition of thousands of properties through short sales, foreclosure and bankruptcy auctions and as REO’s. He has crafted disposition strategies which have rapidly liquidated millions of dollars of real estate to the mutual benefit of lenders and investors and, recently, homeowners.

Current AHP Venture
Newbery is presently the Director of American Homeowner Preservation LLC in Cincinnati, Ohio. Initially a consultant, Newbery transitioned to director in May 2009. AHP pioneers a foreclosure prevention program which keeps families in their homes through a short sale to private investors who provide both affordable leases and favorable options to repurchase to the selling families. Newbery oversees sales and business development functions, including creating relationships with lenders and investors, and marketing properties to investors. Newbery also manages a team of negotiators and a marketing department.
